«Is our destiny predetermined?»
There are hundreds of definitions of this concept, there are so many of them that everyone can find „a formula“ for himself. For me, destiny is an unpredictable river, which during its long life can change its current, make it stormy or, conversely, calm.
What will be our destiny? Favorable or not? What does it depend on? In many respects, our destiny depends on what choice we make at this particular moment in time. So the future is not certain. With an absolute guarantee, you can not predict what will happen next minute, day, month, year or ten years. And the more developed a person is, the more multivariate future is.
If we look at the life of animals, we can say that their life is defined. With a greater or lesser probability, close to 100%, we can predict what will happen to this being. In short, its life fits into a sequence of very simple events. It was born, grew up, continued its family and died.
The trouble is that the fate of many people also fits into this scenario. Depending on what a person has filled his life with, he determines who he will be in the next life. And if we make the right choice, then we reach a higher level of evolutionary development of our consciousness.
It is very right to take advantage of this freedom of choice, which the Lord has given us. Because, ideally, he has given us the ability to return home to God, so that we can reach our original homeland, the original family from which we came.
If we misuse this opportunity, then there will be worlds in which we will have to experience birth, old age, sickness and death over and over again. It is very clearly predetermined in the material world.
